If you are looking for a service to support you, but don’t know where to start, please come and chat to one of our staff. Our staff will provide you with information and referrals to the most relevant service or support organisation to suit your needs. Jen Mitchelson is currently working three days a week (Monday to Wednesday) in our Child, Youth and Family Support Program and can assist with referrals. Jen is passionate about social justice and community development and empowerment. As well as women’s health and wellbeing. Jen is also trained and invested in assisting community members with domestic and family violence assistance and pre and post-natal care.
BNC has a needle exchange service. You can safely dispose of your used needles in the external collection bin, as well as pick up sterile needle packs (including water) during our office opening hours. We are also able to provide condoms.
The Energy Accounts Payment Assistance Scheme (EAPA) provides financial help with your gas or electricity bill. If you are unable to pay your bill please make an appointment to come and speak to one of our volunteers. We can assist you with setting up payment plans as well as provide you with financial assistance with paying bills via EAPA vouchers. Please note there is an interview process to assess eligability for this service. Assistance is by appointment only. Please call the centre for further infomation or to make an appoinment.
