I have lived in Wollongong for 50 years. We moved to Wollongong from inland and we fell in love with Wollongong and have called Wollongong home since then.
What do I love? Firstly, my family is now based here. Then there are all the other things here to love – the mountains and the sea, the beautiful people who are always so welcoming, the fact that people in Wollongong are less judgmental than in a lot of other towns, the acceptance of people of so many different cultures, and the sense of community. It is also an amazing community the way it rallies around anybody who is in need.
I am happy to be able to offer my skills to the Bellambi community through the Bellambi Neighbourhood Centre Inc and hope that I can bring some benefit to the Board and the community.
