Mark Wallis

I moved to the Illawarra from Victoria almost 25 years ago, and have lived in Woonona East
for almost 18 of these with my wife Susan, and daughter Sophie.

My working life has been as an Accountant – I am currently the Financial Controller of a Car
Dealership in Sydney. I am hoping that my business management skills would be of use on
the board and as I head towards the end of my full time working life, the time has come for
me to make some life changes, and being able to contribute to my local community is a part
of that.

My late daughter Gracie had complex and severe disabilities, and I hope my lived
experience as a carer can be of benefit to the board and the community.
