Our Team

Board of Managements

The Governance and Strategic Direction are overseen by a Board of volunteers. They provide a broad mix of skills and experience from across community service areas and organisational management.

Staff

Our incredible team at BNC includes our wonderful team of volunteers who support our 3 paid staff. Without our volunteers, our service would not be able to provide the array of services and supports that we offer to support our Community. We acknowledge the time, skills, commitment, and effort our volunteers and staff contribute each week to build and strengthen our Community. History

For over 40 years Bellambi Neighbourhood Centre (BNC) has been a place for the local community to meet, share, play, learn and grow. BNC is at the heart of the Bellambi Community and has been a hub for connection. Like most neighbourhood centres, BNC has a rich and colourful history that has woven a narrative throughout the Community and Illawarra for decades. A supporter of the arts and creativity, BNC has provided affordable and enjoyable activities to the entire community, seeing generation after generation participate in quality programs and services.

When things got tough during COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions, the BNC team went above and beyond and continued to offer services and referrals to support the community. This innovative and committed approach is one example of how BNC have always been the backbone of the Bellambi Community.

Our Sponsors and Donators

We would not be able to do what we do without the fantastic support of our funders (Department of Community and Justice services, Wollongong City Council, Clubs NSW), our supporters and our amazing staff and volunteers.
We would like to acknowledge the community industry group for their ongoing support and leadership for both staff and the board. A very big thank you to member for Keira, Ryan Park, and his team’s support. Also a big thanks to federal member for Cunningham, Alison Byrnes, and her team.
